In fact, MOST daycare mornings go something like this:
Ethan wakes up.
Rolls over.
Asks "Do I go to daycare today?" and "Can I be a Cowboy?"
"No Ethan, not today, we are running late get some clothes on plus you have alot of really nice clothes that you need to start wearing since you only wear your cowboy clothes."
Fit begins.
Fit continues.
Cries for 10 minutes.
I give in because it is too early to argue.
Ethan puts on cowboy shirt, jeans, boots, hat, belt and if he is LUCKY (and doesn't throw a fit) he gets to strap on his spurs too! :)
This day, however, happened to be a REAL cowboy day! It was the week of the fair and there was a Stick Horse Rodeo! That sounded right up our alley and we knew E couldn't miss it! Ethan rounded up the appropriate attire as well as his rope and stick horse and we headed to the fairgrounds!
Cousin ShannMan at the Rodeo as well!
"Honey" wishing her cowboy brother good luck! ;)
So much excitement in those eyes!
Waiting for his chance at Barrel Racing!
Shann, in action, around barrel #1
Giddy Up, E!
He was going faster than his little feet could handle and he got "bucked off"
his stick horse right before the finish line!
Caught him in action! Right before another wipeout!
Ethan then spent the next hour barrel racing, roping hay bales, and bull riding on the backs of some friends!
Until next time, Cowboy...
