4th of July!

This year our 4th of July was a lot different than our last few. Instead of spending the week in Big Timber with the entire McPherson side of the family we stayed home and enjoyed a 4th of July at home. Although staying home was not our choice I am not real sure how we would have managed to make the trip this year! We moved into our house 3 days prior and were still staying at my parents - working VERY hard to get our house in order!

Steve, Amber, Ava and Lily came up from Utah a few days before the 4th so we were able to spend some time with them but all in all our 4th of July was pretty uneventful compared to the crazyness of Big Timber during the 4th of July! We woke up and enjoyed the parade where Daddy and "Sha Sha" were riding in it as part of the "15 year old" All Star Team, then we spent the ENTIRE rest of the afternoon at the Bump-n-Run where Ethan thoroughly enjoyed the cars, dirt and wrecks! After the Bump-n-Run we hurried back to Mimi and Papa's for a 4th of July Barbeque with Grandma Sue, Grandma Diede, Shane, Amber and the kids! With good intentions of lighting off fireworks after dinner - we later decided we were all way too tired from all the housework that we had been doing that we decided to call it a day after a few sparklers and a couple big ones! Did I mention this 4th of July was way more low key than past holidays?! :)
