In May, Ethan participated in "Week of the Young Child" with his daycare and all the other daycares around town. "Week of the Young Child" was created to celebrate children and how truly awesome they are! :) The week was spent with a children's parade, crafts, a picnic, and a day at the park with a petting zoo, the riding train, a jumping gym and lots of fun!! I was able to take some time off to go to the parade and watch Ethan cruise down main street on his trike!

Cousins Shann and Murphy participated in the parade as well!
The balloons were let go as a memorial for two little girls who lost their Daddy :(
Ethan watching all the balloons, contemplating if he REALLY wanted to let go of his! He eventually decided to let it go and watched it for as long as he could.
And last but not least - Daddy showed up just in time to say Hi and get a kiss before the parade was all over!
I love the events that take place to celebrate children! They make the world so bright and it was so nice to hear the excitement in Ethan's voice everyday after daycare and witness how much fun they were really having!
